If it were me, I'd hop a cab to the Greektown area shortly before the show for dinner and drinks. They have a food court, buffet, and diner on site, all of which are average. It's pricey and a little more upscale, but the views are great. The dining at MC is just okay, with Iridescence being the only dinner option I'd suggest. I would call the front desk to be certain. I know Motor City runs a shuttle to the Joe during Wings games, but I'm not sure about concerts. Motor City is in a bit of a desolate (immediate) area. Unfortunately, if you're planning to walk to restaurants / bars in the area, you're out of luck.
